rag rug workshops
This beginners’ class will teach you all the skills you require to create your own fabulous, textured rag rug in colours of your choice. You will learn how to use the latch tool, work with the hessian backing cloth, and choose, prepare and cut scrap fabrics to create your own up-cycled rug or cushion that you can complete at home. All materials, tea and cake are provided on the day and the latch tool and cutting gauge is yours to keep.
Workshops run on selected dates from 11am to 3.30pm.

eco-printed lampshade workshop
This workshop is designed to develop all the skills you need to produce beautiful and unique fabric prints. It is suitable for beginners who are keen to achieve clear defined prints that you will use to make a lampshade. The morning will be spent experimenting with different leaves and foliage on sample pieces and then finally printing the piece to transform into your lampshade. You will make the lampshade in the afternoon. Fabrics and the lampshade frame will be included in the price of the workshop.
